When you sign up as a member and order a card we need to know your name, address, and card details. We also need to know your email and phone number in order to contact you if required. If ordering a second card for your spouse or partner we need to know their name and contact details also.

If you use our booking request services - for tee times, hotel reservations or car hire - we need to know your name, address and contact details (phone and email) and details of your requested reservation. If you are a member you can request a booking at preferential rates. You will be asked to provide your membership number and the Personal Identification Number (PIN) you were provided with.

As you browse through our website, our webserver collects information about your visit, not about you personally. This information is anonymous and no attempt is made or will be made to identify users. We use this information to continue to develop member services and website features.

We may also use contact you occasionally about new courses & facilities that are now available to Travel Club members or special offers we think you'll find valuable. If you would prefer not to receive this information you may opt out by contacting us.

Golf Direct South Africa does not sell or rent your personal information to others. We may choose to do so in the future with trustworthy third parties, but you can tell us not to by sending an email to that effect to info@golfdirectsa.com.

When you place orders, access your membership information, or request a booking we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. We also use a Secure Payments Service to process your credit card details in processing an order.

As required under Irish Data Protection Legislation, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures may mean that we may request you to identify yourself before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.
