West Course

The West course was the site of the Johannesburg Golf Club when it first moved to the current premises in 1909. Over the years it has been upgraded and its major revamping was in 1999. The West Course, in comparison to the East Course, is a fine example of how two layouts in close proximity can still create quite different, but vastly enjoyable golfing experiences.

LOCATION

Take the Linksfield Road off-ramp and travel in the Linksfield direction along Club Street. Go through one set of traffic lights at the Linksfield shopping center and you turn right into Gemmil Street, which is just after the shops and a soccer field. Turn right again at the T-junction and then first left and proceed along here (you will see the course ahead of you at the bottom of the road). Curve right with the road and you will see the entrance on the left.
